The hotel has 26 rooms and 2 suits distributed on 3 floors and served by a panoramic lift. All the single, double and three bedded rooms are completely renewed and equipped with bathroom, direct phone line and satellite TV. Our Restaurant Bernina is situated on the ground floor of the hotel and has been planed in order to offer to our guests a cosy, comfortable, smart and familiar place, where you can choose from a wide variety of dishes, from the typical Valtellina specialities to the classical Italian courses. Tourists can therefore taste air-dried beef as a typical Valtellina starter, buckwheat fritters served on leaves of rocket, the traditional "Pizzoccheri" (buckwheat noodles with sage, potatoes, cheese and butter), rice prepared with Sforzato wine or the crêpes with cheese and air-dried beef, all accompanied by local wines such as Sforzato, Sassella and Inferno, which are produced by the most popular wineries in Valtellina (Sertoli Salis, Negri, Bettini, Fay). Our kitchen staff also prepares delicious fish specialities such as seefood spaghetti, seefood risotto, noodles with shrimps or mixed fried fish. Our wine-list offers a wide choice of local red and white wines as well as wines from Piedmont (Barolo, [More info] Barbaresco, Barbera e Dolcetto), from Veneto (Valpolicella, Soave, Bianco di Custoza), from Friuli and Trentino (Cabernet, Merlot, Refosco. St. Magdalener, Pinot), from Tuscany (Rosso di Montalcino, Chianti, Vernaccia), and from the Marche and Campania (Verdicchio, Greco di Tufo). Our pizzeria is the ideal place for those who prefer a quick and good quality meal, since we offer a choice of about thirty different pizzas, from the simplest to the most sophisticated one, all baked in the classical wood-oven. Our Restaurant Bernina has two separate dining-rooms where 130 clients can be accommodated. They are both air conditioned and one of them has a wonderful view on the old-fashioned and picturesque Station Square. During Summer you can have lunch or dinner on the outside terrace, a quiet corner surrounded by the Rhaetian and Orobic Alps. Our restaurant is also an ideal place to celebrate your special events such as Christenings, Weddings or business lunches and dinners and you have the possibility to choose your personal menu. If you are in a hurry but do not want to miss your meal, you can take advantage of our touristic menu, which gives you our high quality at a low price.
